About the Program
UNDER CONSTRUCTION 11/2024

The Marin County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) Team is focused on fostering resilience, creating hope and strengthening connections within our shared community. Through support of MHSA Prevention and Early Intervention Funding, our multi-disciplinary Team manages over thirty contracts with county wide community-based organizations providing critical behavioral health services.
In addition to funding direct support services, the Prevention and Outreach Team leads the Marin County Suicide Prevention Collaborative which launched in direct response to the first ever county suicide prevention strategic plan approved in February 2020.
The Team believes that by working together with diverse community collaboratives and networks we can create prevention and intervention strategies in a comprehensive, coordinated, responsive, and sustainable way. In this spirit, the Team supports training and education in the community to create greater awareness to and access of County behavioral health resources and services. Most importantly – and at the core of our work - is a commitment to ensuring that we deliver community and culturally responsive, and linguistically appropriate, services for all.
