Suicide Prevention Trainings

A survey conducted by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention indicates that the majority of Americans want to help someone who is in distress, feel they lack the words to help, but would like to learn them! Taking just one training can increase your confidence to help a person who may be in distress.  

The Training and Education Action Team  is comprised of representatives from Buckelew Programs, North Marin Community Services, a Vietnamese psychology practice, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Marin County Office of Education, and Marin County BHRS.
